aron tamora titus Yesterday afternoon I started to feel more like myself again. The feelings from the two previous days had subsided and I moved a little closer to my usual schedule. For me that meant thinking about the internship and school. Now I openly confess that both of those items tend to be put aside once Thursday afternoon starts, but this is a crucial week for me and before the events of Friday I had hoped to give them a little more attention. The reason for this added concern is simple. This coming Thursday morning is when my professor comes to observe my teaching and I can't wait for that day to be over. Once that is done then I can relax. I didn't spend that much time on those two topics though, because early yesterday afternoon, I saw a production of Titus Andronicus for the very first time. The local Shakespeare company was performing at the college I attend and I was eager to see it, since my only concept of the play was the film with Anthony Hopkins in the title role. I like the film, but wasn't sure if I would like play on the stage. Now having seen the play four rows from where I was sitting, I would say that my answer would have to be yes. Oh, there were some awkward staging things that annoyed me, such as having cast members play multiple roles, but overall I walked away happy. |
