life not balanced Documentary films probably aren't the first choice of viewing for most people, but Koyaanisqatsi has to be the best film that I have seen in some time. All that I knew before I saw it was that there was no dialogue and that it was supposed to contrast images of nature with scenes of modern urban life. That description sounds simple enough, but I found the film to be far more moving than those words suggest and would recommend it to anyone. Now I have to see the next two films in the trilogy. |
