britain versus india After watching the nearly four hour long Indian film Lagaan, I think that I finally understand how to play cricket. I now know that there are eleven players per team and when the team is on the offense they are called batsmen and when they are playing defense they are bowlers. It also seems that a person continues to bat and score points until either the ball is caught or a wicket is knocked down. I am guessing that there are more rules, but that is what I took away from watching the movie. |
