russian romance kills I have never read any Pushkin so my only knowledge of the story of Onegin came in the form of the Ralph Fiennes and Liv Tyler movie that I watched today. Fiennes has impressed me since I first saw him in Schindler's List so I was curious to see how he would be in a Russian romance. Having seen him in The English Patient I knew that he could play something other than a Nazi, but at least that romance moved a little faster than Onegin did. Then the duel scene happened and everything started to speed up to the end. |
