steve ditko heroism Saturdays tend to be slow for me and that was the case today. Besides sleeping and eating all that I did was read some Captain Atom comic books and that was good enough for me. About a decade ago DC decided to revive a Steve Ditko character first made in the 1960's that they had acquired from Charlton and it was mildly successful. Even though those issues existed I knew about Captain Atom for a different reason. I knew about the character because Alan Moore transformed him into Dr. Manhattan in the extremely well written Watchmen series. Now knowing both versions of the character I'm even more impressed by what Moore did. |
