thundra and tigra Perhaps in a an effort to make what I said yesterday a self fulfilling prophecy, I didn't do any real sorting of the remaining boxes today. The amount of progress that I had made on Wednesday was enough to make me happy. With just one day's effort, there is more open floor space in my kitchen and I have a better idea of what is left to sort through when I decide to give it another go. As to whether that happens this week has yet to be seen. Once I was able to rationalize not doing any more sorting, I had the mail to thank for further tearing me away from that time consuming chore. Leaning against my front door was a box full of comic books from 1977-78. In the industry those dates fall into what is known as the Bronze Age and for me slightly predates my serious entry into the hobby of collecting. July of 1981 is the month where I started to collect on a weekly basis so these books were a real find for me. On Sunday I had stumbled across the auction and once I had won it, I was told that they would be put in the mail on Monday. Suddenly having twenty-two new sources of adventure sitting in my living room was too tempting to resist. I had to read just a few of them before I did anything else and I did. |
