mongolia means mud Before I fell asleep early this morning, I did some online Christmas shopping and I was happy with the amount that I got done. Many mouse clicks later, I managed to get something for my father, one of my sisters and my girlfriend. Of course that means that I still have to find something for my mother, my niece, my brother and his wife and my other sister. In terms of simple math, I haven't quite reached the half way point yet. ... Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman were in Mongolia in this week's episode of Long Way Round. Despite all of the troubles that they were having with the lack of roads, I still envy them. Being able to travel the world for three months is something that I will probably never get to do in my life. I've been brainwashed into believing that I must have a job at all times or my life will grind to a complete halt. Without a job I won't be able to pay my mortgage, buy groceries or afford gas to keep my car running. The vicious cycle keeps me trapped and I have no idea how to escape. |
