eight episodes completed I've watched the first two discs of Alias season three and I have yet to see something that I didn't already see on television. Maybe I made it halfway through the season before I stopped watching. I should have an answer soon. ... I keep walking away from anything that Marvel has to offer and then something draws me back. Today Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo made me smile with their latest issue of the Fantastic Four. Everything in the story worked for me. I loved the quiet flashbacks sequences from Sue and Ben. I liked seeing Johnny having to fend for himself. What was even better is that I have no idea what is going to happen next and I want to know. For me that is a sign of a good story. I may even have to add the book back to monthly pull list. |
