, which has a Calvin and Hobbes feel to it as seen through a manga filter. That may or may not be the best way to describe the strip, but that is the best example that I can give.
Both characters in Copper make me laugh as they explore these fantastical worlds. I think that it's their down to earth reaction to what they see and do that makes them so real to me. Years ago when I was growing up, I used to read The Green Sheet in the Milwaukee Journal. It was where the local paper put all of the daily comic strips. Now that I no longer read the newspaper, I seek out my daily dose of adventure, drama and or humor online through these web comics. King Features puts most of their strips online, but there is a difference between the newsprint variety and these new web only creations. For me, these new strips have more sophistication than what appeared in the newspaper and I can truly sense the amount of devotion and effort that the creators put into these works of art.
