mechanical elf robot

Early this morning, I went for a walk for the first time in weeks and I enjoyed it. Not going out at all last week wasn't my intention, but somehow time got away from me. Despite the almost continual wind that made a few layers of clothing a requirement, I thoroughly enjoyed my time outside. Walking instead of cycling lets me take in more of what I see around me, be it the sky or the trees starting to bud. Plus at that slower pace I also get a better glimpse of some of the houses in the neighborhood. All in all it was time well spent and I want to make it a daily part of my routine if I can.

I think that it's been years since I first came across Neon Genesis Evangelion. That was the first serious anime series that really impressed me. Now I've found something that I might like even better. It's called Argentosoma and as most of the reviews state there are more than a few plot elements in common with Neon Genesis. I don't think that it is the similarities that draw me in the most, I think that it is the differences that appeal to me more. For example, instead of a protagonist who never seems to gain any confidence, we have Hattie and her dog Walton. She appeals to me far more than Shinji Ikari ever did.
