fondue pot surfing Now I have never been one to actively seek out new restaurants, because I prefer to eat in the comfort of my own home and save money at the same time. To some people that might sound almost primitive, but I would rather spend whatever extra money I might have each month on other things besides eating out at restaurants. In my mind instead of wasting money on something that will be over in a matter of hours, it makes more sense to me to put any extra money into my vacation fund where it will turn into something far more memorable. However, in the interest of being willing to try something new, I went to a fondue place for the very first time tonight and my quick response would be that I was not impressed. It was over priced and left me hungry. ... Surf documentaries always amaze me and I wish that I could better explain why other than seeing these people get pummeled by all of that water only to get back on the board to try it again means more to me than what any football player does in a seasons worth of games. Some months back I first saw Stepping Into Liquid and the film Riding Giants is definitely the next step up from that not so humble introduction to big wave surfing. |
