looking for walt Without a doubt, Lost is the best program on television and it made for some quality viewing this evening. Due to the holidays, it went on hiatus for a while, but now that new episodes are coming each week, I can start to fully appreciate it again. I've probably said this in the past, but what I like the best is the number of layers that can be found in each episode. Not everything gets answered at once, but there are answers and each new answer makes me think. I suspect that for some people the story doesn't move fast enough or give them what they want to know. For me, I think that the pacing is what makes the show so effective. If there were no questions left, then why would anyone want to watch? ... Since I spent a fair amount of time downloading episodes of science fiction programs last night, I opted for music today. As much as I am enjoying the bands Guster, Matt Pond PA and the Trashcan Sinatras, I was in the mood for something new. So after a brief flirtation with some old guilty favorites such as Men At Work and Prince, I can say that my new band of the moment is Spoon. |
