episode three please Masterpiece Theatre has yet to disappoint me. Yesterday's third and latest episode of Dickens Bleak House was just as enjoyable as the first two that I have seen. Part of me wonders if the book reads as well as it comes across on the screen. I know that that may seem silly considering that the book came first, but once one becomes accustomed to a certain interpretation of a story others tend to pale in comparison even if it is the primary source. For just that reason I have never read the novel Doctor Zhivago for the fear that it will ruin my love of the film. ... The season finale of Surface aired tonight and I am hoping that it will make a return in the fall. There are some flaws in the program, but overall I have come to like the story and want to know more about the characters and what is going to happen next. I can't say that about most television programs. |
