twelve inch blanket The first snow of the season fell this morning and it was definitely worth noticing. In the past the weathermen have been more than a little zealous in predicting what we will see fall from the sky, but this time they were right. A serious amount of the white stuff came down and caused all sorts of problem for morning commuters. As for me, there were no worries. I had more than enough food at my place and there was no real reason for me to leave the house. So I sat comfortably in my living room watching the wind blow cold and white across the land. Not only did we get snow, but that was quickly followed by some temperatures well below freezing so I doubt that the snow will disappear any time soon. |
