A Lazy Sunday Today was a day of self indulgence. Sometimes it feels good to be selfish and that is what I did today. I let my childhood memories take over and bought two episodes of Doctor Who on videocassette this afternoon. When I was twelve that show was the main event for me on Sunday night. The rest of the day was a mixture of cleaning, paying bills and watching some television here and there. From what I saw of The Legend of the Fall, it seemed like a good movie. I know that it came out a while ago, but I had never seen it until tonight. The only problem is that I wasn't paying that close attention to what was happening, because I was busy milling around my house when it was on. Now I might have to rent it to fill in the gaps.
I felt really content today. I hope that this lasts for the next few days, but I doubt it. Tomorrow I have to speak with my car insurance agent about my little Omaha incident. They had called me last week, but I wasn't home.
One highlight of Thanksgiving for me is the Charlie Brown special. I love the Snoopy dance music. Now if only I could dance like Franklin, my life would be complete. Hmm, when I think about it he dances in the Christmas one and not the Thanksgiving one. Oh well, it will be on soon enough.
