All I Want

I just got done shovelling the driveway. Nature decided to give Wisconsin a white Christmas this year at the last minute. Since I didn't see the news tonight, I have to guess that about three inches fell. It was the wet heavy stuff and all that I had to clear it away was the kiddie shovel that the landlords gave me to use. I'm hoping that they decide to invest in a snowblower soon. If they don't, I am going to be very pumped by the end of winter.

Christmas Eve is always spent with my dad's side of the family. They are some real talkers and that's the best part of the holidays for me. I love to hear all of the stories.

My grandpa gave me some more background on his family tonight. Who was born where and when his parents met and got married. Personal history passed down from generation to generation.

Highlights included my eighteen month old niece and my fifteen year old cousin. The niece is the cute one and the cousin has the blatantly dyed hair. I'm trying to remember what color she said it was when I asked her. I know that she said that the next color was going to be some shade of plum.

Of my immediate family I was the last to leave my aunt's house. They sent me home with some food which is always appreciated. Less cooking for me.

Tomorrow is my mom's side of the family.
