Some Help

Last night when I was setting up Brenda's new stereo system, I realized how out of date my system is that I have in my house. My receiver and speakers are at least nine years old and the cd player is about five years old. Unlike other people in college, my money didn't go into a top of the line stereo system.

I don't have any plans to upgrade it any time soon. My money would go into the computer before it went into a stereo system.

Even though I went into work an hour late this morning, I didn't miss anything important. What I really did is eliminate one less hour of boredom, because today really crawled. Most of my time was spent reading the latest issues of the New Yorker and Vanity Fair.

Mark, my downstairs neighbor, helped shovel snow tonight. He says that the snowblower is coming. His other big news was that they just invested in a computer so that Vicki can work from home. I guess that neither of them are very computer literate, so they asked if I could help them.

Well, I had hoped for a more enlightening entry, but I got this instead.
