Thirty degrees cooler Darkness. The first thing that I see in the morning is that its still dark outside and I don't really mind. Autumn is making itself known with its shorter days and I'm ready to hibernate. I see no reason to resist the natural cycle. All that I would need to complete this task is a few pillows and some warm blankets to burrow under for a few weeks. My only problem is that I very seldom sleep more than seven hours at a time. When I got home from work there was a message on my machine from someone I had not heard from in nearly two years. My friend Dan from high school had called me. He recently moved back to Wisconsin from Iowa and wanted to see if I was still around. Well, he found me and I might be able to start a social life once again. Tuesday night has become laundry night for me. The laundromat is nearly empty and I don't feel rushed. Besides the relaxed atmosphere lends itself to my slow transformation into a night person. In the coming weeks, I will leave the nine to five world behind for something less stressful. For the past eight months I wondered why should I do my laundry on the weekend when I can do it at night during the week? Brenda never seemed to see the benefit here. Oh well, its all in the past now. I would write more, but I am so tired.   audio input at the moment: classical music station
