A new trilogy Okay, I crumbled. I showed some interest in the Star Wars prequel. I even downloaded the trailer since I have yet to see it on television. Of course the image size is only a few inches, but I can watch it over and over studying every detail. I have never been that much into the whole Star Wars mythos, but it is nice to finally see something new happening with the story. For years there have been rumors about the films, but all of it seemed like broken promises to me. Plus I never really felt the desire to read the books that came out telling what happened after the last film. The interest just wasn't there for me. Part of me feels that this film might be even better than the first trilogy. Then I always did like The Silmarillon more than The Lord of the Rings, but that is another story. I can't believe my downstairs neighbors. They have their Christmas tree up already. I guess that this wouldn't be so bad except that they still have their Halloween decorations out on the front lawn. Maybe if I wait long enough they'll start to mix in some Easter decorations in as well.
