Can I help you I had to turn some paperwork in at work today. When I walked into the lobby the receptionist gave me a look and asked me if I needed any help. I suppose since I was in my street clothes I may have looked out of place there. I know that I didn't look like a prospective client, so I told her that I worked there. Then she quickly replied that she was sorry but she had never seen me before. I casually explained to her that I worked third shift and went on my merry way. I guess that this is the kind of trade off a person makes when they join a larger company rather than working for a small one. I have been with the company for three months, but I know only a fraction of the people who work there. None of this bothers me though. I'm happy with my little corner of the company and that's all that really matters. It's not as though I need to be getting in good with the members of upper management. Winter blew back into Wisconsin today like I knew it would as I did some shopping. I had a small sample of the holiday madness as I priced a Christmas tree stand and various decorations. It was the middle of the day and there were still people shopping. The world of retail never ceases to disappoint me. My copy of Endurance came in the mail today, but I have to finish The Land Remembers first. It feels good to be reading again.   written input at the moment: The Land Remembers - Ben Logan
