Summer childhood The nice weather and my determination to figure out how to work ResEdit kept me awake almost all day yesterday. I know that the application isn't new for Macintosh, but I still didn't have a very good idea of how to use it. Now I do despite the fact that it cost me most of the day. I kept telling myself just one more hour and then after that hour was up I would say just one more hour again. I finally went to sleep at four in the afternoon. I wish that I could fully express how much I am enjoying reading The Land Remembers. Maybe it helps that I can see myself in parts of the book. Even though I didn't grow up on a farm, I did still grow up in Wisconsin. There were two or three summers that I spent with my grandparents in the northern part of the state and the book reminds me of those summers. Those were the barefoot summers where swimming was a major activity everyday. Beer can and rock collections were a source of pride for me. Then we would end each day by playing a few rounds of cards as we ate pretzels and ice cream. My grandparents spoiled me and I loved every minute of it.   written input at the moment: The Land Remembers - Ben Logan
