back to normal Work managed to strip me of my post vacation afterglow. Everything is exactly the same as it was before I left. I guess that I really wasn't expecting anything to be different, but it would have be nice. At least I only had to work last night and it was slow. I think working the one day will make the transition easier than starting back at work with a full week. The monotony was something that I had forgotten while I was gone. Rain fell off and on throughout the day as I got used to being home. The pace of life seems so quiet after the past week. I am no longer living out of a duffel bag and now I wake up in my own house instead of somewhere else. I miss being on the road and doing new things every day. I no longer have a new guide each day to show me around. Dan, Rick and Trish each gave me their vision of California while I was there and I thank them for it. All of them made it a great experience for me.
