seven o'clock The lack of sleep during the day left me a zombie for most of the night, but I managed to stay awake and be somewhat productive. Then in the morning my boss and I went over my ninety day review, which was slightly overdue since I started last September. It didn't really matter that much to me so I never pressed him about it. No money was riding on this one and he even said that it was real informal. The most striking part was that I was described as dependable and I can live with that adjective. Disorientation is real common for someone like me working third shift and today would be a good example. I woke at seven o'clock but it took me a few moments to determine if it was seven in the evening or seven in the morning. Now with daylight savings time in place, the sun is still in the sky that late at night so it is possible to get the two times confused. I was actually looking to see where the sun was in the sky when it occurred to me that if it was seven in the morning I would have be at work. The thought of having slept through an entire night into the next day frightened me until I realized that someone from work would have called looking for me. Yes, there is an AM and PM indicator on my clock, but I was so out of it that I ran to the window first instead of getting a closer look at the clock.
