must not mope Highlights of the first hour at work included watching three people playing phone tag. One of them would call the other one and then hang up. A phone would ring here and then another one a few feet down would ring. This went on for about fifteen minutes with suppressed laughter from each of them. It made me feel good seeing the American work ethic in full force. Since I was getting tired of dragging myself through a certain novel, I switched over to non-fiction. Carl Sagan does a great job of debunking the concept of alien abduction. He even made me laugh as I read. I leave for Nova Scotia in ten days and I still have a few details to sort out.
