drive me home

Yesterday went really well for me. Despite getting tired and slightly crabby, I managed to stay awake for the entire day. Sacrificing sleep let me enjoy the most sun that I have seen in a long time.

...

After hours of talking I can say that I now own a new car. Buying a car is not something that I enjoy doing. Oh, I am happy with the end result, but the hours of faux bartering always wears me down. By the end I just want to go home and am willing to sign just about anything.

What can I do to make you buy this car?

Um, let me have it for free.

There was a time in the afternoon where I was going to leave. I just needed a break and thought that I might come back tomorrow. It was at that point that the tag team action started. The original salesman was replaced by more of a high energy guy that seemed puzzled as to why I was hestitating over such a great deal.

...

I think that I have mentioned before that I look much younger than I am and in negotiating a sale that may not be such a good thing. The one salesman guessed that I was probably twenty-three or twenty-four. Now that I mention that little exchange it doesn't sound that funny, but I am sure that my appearance probably factored into our transaction. I mean I don't exactly look too threatening or savvy.

I just wish that they wouldn't pretend to be my friend when I just met them.
