so very close

One more day and I'll be free. One more night of work and I won't have to go back until next week Friday.

Nicole said that she didn't get in trouble and I am always amazed at the way she can let negative comments just roll off of her. Then again I think that she has had a history of people nagging her for one reason or another. Maybe a person can get used to someone always being negative towards them. I don't know.

As for me, I could never be angry with Nicole. She is one the few people at work that keeps me sane and I love her for it. I truly do and I think that she knows it.

Ann was wondering why I hadn't mentioned my girlfriend in a while. It seems that she wanted an update of sorts. She had hinted at it the night before, but I just let it go. So tonight I had to explain one more time what had happened.

Not too surprisingly Ann was slightly angry and confused as to why my last girlfriend did what she did.

Now that everyone who might need to know what happened knows, I doubt that I will mention it again. I don't see any point on dwelling on it anymore. Besides maybe something will happen with classmate Kelly, who still needs a better nickname.

Recently I've gotten back into a collecting and or decorating frame of mood. What this means is that I have been scanning online auctions looking for something that would look good in my livingroom or bedroom, be it a statue for the bookshelf or a print for the wall. After some serious searching I am now the proud owner of Rodin replicia that is now on its way to my house to be displayed on my bedroom dresser. I still might get another print to hang. I just need to decide which I want more, a Renoir or John Singer Sargent. Obviously Renoir is easier to find than Sargent.

Last summer when I was in Venice there was a small exhibit of Rodin plaster casts that I saw. Some if not all of the pieces were for sale, but putting aside the shipping issue, I still think that most of them were out of my price range. I could be wrong though.
