sad sad saturday Work went well enough for a first night back, but the morning after was not a good time for me. I was tired yet didn't go to sleep right away and ended up spending money on something that I wouldn't have if I had been thinking clearly. I don't want to make that mistake again. ... When I woke my mood had improved considerably and I sat back to watch From Hell with Johnny Depp and Heather Graham. Years ago I had read the series that was the basis for the movie and I was leery about seeing the film. Alan Moore had crammed the series with an abundance of information about the Masons and their influence on that time in London and the world in general. It was an amazing and complex read so my hopes for the film were low. Now that I've seen the film, it wasn't that bad. I don't think that I would ever want to own it, but they could have done much worse than they did. |
