one step closer

Looking back through the journal, I can see that a year ago I was busy finishing the semester while this year the class that I needed wasn't even offered. I also remember that at one time I was worried that I would be completely miserable without school this spring. Thankfully that is not what happened.

Oh, I keep meaning to sign up for a summer class, but never seem to find the time and that has me slightly worried. Over the course of a year some of my priorities in life have changed that I couldn't have predicted back then. It isn't as though I am avoiding school, but I definitely have fallen away from that kind of thing and I don't want that to happen anymore.

If all goes well I should be done with the program at this time next year, so the end is near. I just need to take that first step.

...

Lisa Marie Presley sounds like Sheryl Crow to me and I have to wonder if that was intentional.

Free Comic Book Day happened earlier this month, but I doubt that the general public cared or worse even knew about it. Obviously my subscription service knew about it and wanted to support it, because they included ten free books in my latest mailing. Each of them was from a different publisher and I'll read all of them before I try to give them away. The two that surprised me the most were the Archie and Disney offerings. I had completely forgotten that the two of them were still printing books. Then again I'm probably not the only one who has forgotten that there is more to comic books than Batman, Spiderman, Superman and the X-Men.
