those seven characters Shortly after midnight, while Neil Gibson was making his way through the country of Peru on the latest episode of Globe Trekker, I was busy reading Sandman Endless Nights. I had managed to pick up a copy after class yesterday, but didn't get around to reading any of it before I fell asleep. As happy as I am to get some new Neil Gaiman reading material, I wish that he was doing a monthly title instead of these one of a kind projects. Yes, I enjoyed reading it, but at the same time it was the equivalent of one over sized meal, when what I really want is something that I can enjoy on a daily basis. His online journal meets some of that need, but I always want more. I guess that I should be thankful that he doesn't go to that other extreme of just putting things out to meet demand and not caring about the quality. There are more than enough writers in the world that do that already. |
