build organic robots

Early this morning, I watched the final episode of Cleopatra 2525 and I was satisfied with the ending. Yes, I will be the first to admit that the show was not overly complex in terms of plot, but the episodes did still build upon one another and the final one did answers many questions that were raised over the course of the series. For example, what satisfied me the most was that we finally learned who built the organic robots and why they were built. Part of me wishes that there had been more episodes, but I should probably be happy that they made as many as they did, because I truly doubt that the show was a big money maker for the producers.

Later in the night, I got to see another side of Victoria Pratt in the latest episode of Daybreak. Oh, I know that she dressed in normal clothes in the series Mutant X, but this is the first time that I have seen her act outside of a science fiction setting. Personally I think that she does a great job in her role and I am happy when someone is able to cross said acting boundaries.

Despite my disinterest for most of what Marvel is offering these days, I must confess a building appreciation of Peter David's work on X-Factor. Issue thirteen where each characters has a session with psychiatrist Doc Samson was a solid read and made me like the characters. Peter gave each of them believable personalities and had me caring about what they had to say.
