slow to rise After having an incredibly slow night at work, I was ready to go to sleep when I got home. Before I did, however, I made the mistake of turning on the television and instantly wished that I hadn't. The media was there reminding me that I should be mourning the death of a certain celebrity. After seeing a grown woman mimicking the salute of a child, I rushed to turn it off before I was insulted any more. Woke in the late afternoon early evening with a dry mouth and a dull ache in my back. I had slept long enough, but it wasn't a relaxing sleep. Somehow I had slept wrong and wondered how I could fail at something that requires no real effort. Once I was awake I spent the final few hours before work reading some more about the Lewis and Clark expedition as Dvorak played in the background.
